When trying to decide on the photo I wanted to post for today, I decided to go with real life - exactly as it is. All of my boys are sick with the flu. This is the first Thanksgiving I have EVER spent away from my parents…. I am so grateful I have been able to share as many as I have had with them. I am also grateful for my wonderful boys…. Seen here shouting “GOOOAAALLL!!!!” while watching the World Cup, and eating snacks. Though today is not how we planned it, we are making the best of it. Gratitude is a state of mind… and I am particularly reminded of that today. Sending each and every one of you love, light and endless gratitude. 💛💛💛

It’s that time of year again!! Our Annual Gratitude Sale starts THIS MONDAY, November 21st, and continues for two weeks through Sunday, December 4th.

Cheers! 🥂 It’s Friday!!

Three years ago we were in my favorite city sharing my favorite museum with our children. My Luca fell in love, and asks every few months when we can go back to the @guggenheim …He was a lot smaller then. Time is fascinating. Some days pass like molasses. And somehow some memories, such as this one, feel so fresh that I can still smell and taste them.

It’s #pumpkinspice season! This is one of my family’s favorite cakes… Pumpkin Date Cake!!

My oldest was born in October, and I wrote this recipe for his first birthday. It’s super healthy, uses zero refined sugar, and tastes even better with maple cream cheese frosting. 😋

I’m so excited to share with you our new all natural, handwoven extra large raw linen throws!! Each of these beauties is woven by one family in Turkey on antique wooden looms. The tassels are hand tied. No two are exactly alike. As soon as you pick one of these up, you can feel the difference. Happy weekend everyone!

We’ve had a lot of new goodies arrive in the past week or so. One of my favorite arrivals is a special collection of vintage cicim kilim rugs that were woven 70-80 years ago. A perfect “scatter” rug, these work wonderful on landings and other places can use a smaller rug. Most are between 2’ and 3’ wide, and range between 3’ and 5’ long. Each is handwoven and unique. 💛
